Old Pulteney was founded in 1826 with this expression being part of a new core range that was released in 2018. When Sir William Pulteney decided to build a whole new town near to Wick (in the north or Scotland) I doubt he was under the illusion that the distillery, taking his name, would be a staple to so many whisky drinkers nearly 200 years later. This expression takes its name from the very street where the distillery sits, producing nearly 2 million litres of whisky each year.
